What is The Piano Express?
The Piano Express is a modern group piano method designed to make learning efficient, engaging, and fun for students ages 6 and up. Created by music educators Jody and Chris Woodard, the program was developed to meet the needs of today’s students by combining traditional piano instruction with interactive technology and a motivating, game-based structure. The goal of Piano Express is to help students progress quickly and confidently while staying excited about their learning journey.
Originating from years of experience teaching both private and group piano lessons, the creators of Piano Express recognized the need for a curriculum that could deliver solid musical results in a social and supportive group setting. The program incorporates play-along tracks, structured lesson plans, and individualized pacing, allowing each student to move forward at their own speed while benefiting from the energy and community of the group. It’s a fresh, forward-thinking approach to piano education that prepares students for long-term success.
